Grover Cleveland Middle School is a public middle school in Zanesville, Ohio. Completed in 1924 and named after President Grover Cleveland, it was the city's first junior high school. The school colors, blue and gold, were adopted during its first year of operation, and the first issue of the "Beacon," the school magazine was also published that year. [1]
The school had its first major revision in 1986. A new gymnasium was added to the school's east side. In the summer of 2005, the old Grover Cleveland building was torn down. That fall, the students started class in a new building.[1]
